About the event

For the Erasmus+ youth exchange “Juggling Diversity,” our aim is to enrich the lives of participants with an unforgettable journey of self-discovery and growth.

This project is perfect for anyone looking to try something different, pick up new skills, and make connections that matter for their growth and future paths.

We’re focusing on bringing in people who haven’t had many chances like this.

Diversity is key for us, so we’re inviting everyone in the local area who’s interested to join our circus skill workshops.

YES, CIRCUS!

8 PARTNER COUNTRIES:

LATVIA, POLAND, NORWAY, CYPRUS, HUNGARY, SERBIA, NORTH MACEDONIA, GERMANY

Participants: 4 participants for country 16-25 y.o. and 1 group leader age 18+ per group

Total 40 participants

It’s not typical circus; we’re not using animals or anything!

It’s more about using circus activities as a fun way to teach and bring people together, including kids, young people, their families, and local community will be able to join circus workshops for more inclusion, connection and diversity.

Participants, especially the younger ones, will get to show others how to do awesome circus stuff like juggling, rope walking, riding a unicycle, and a lot more.

We’ve done similar Training Course back in 2021 called “Circus Pedagogy for Youthwork,” and it had amazing results. We saw how much young workers people got out of it and we keep using these methods in our youthwork.

So, we’re bringing it back, but even better this time!

The main idea is to get a new generation of kids and young adults, along with the local community and youth with fewer opportunities, to learn about circus skills, get active, and connect with each other and with EU.

This isn’t just about circus tricks; it’s about bringing people together, improving skills like concentration and creativity, and getting more active in social and democratic life.

A PROJECT IS FOR TOTAL BEGINNERS,

SO NO ANY SPECIAL CIRCUS SKILLS ARE NEEDED!

Aim: “Juggling Diversity” aims to foster intercultural understanding and cooperation among youth from diverse European backgrounds, using circus pedagogy as a unique educational tool to engage and integrate participants into active social and democratic life.

WHO CAN PARTICIPATE:

  • Youngsters 16-25 y.o., citizens or legal residents of Partner countries, motivated and interested in the topic of the project
  • Youngsters who wants to get new opportunities, new challenges in their life and expand their horizons
  • Youngsters with fewer opportunities, regardless of their economic or social status, religious or culture differences, health or any other obstacles in their life
  • Group leaders with at least 18 y.o. responsible and motivated persons, ready for supporting their participants
  • We respect gender equality, so national groups should keep a gender balance
  • youngsters with basic skills of English, as working language of the program is English. Your level should let you understand the program and share your oinions and thoughts.
  • However, if you are not sure about your English – IT IS OK! We will always find some buddies for you to support and translate. As well as group leaders should understand and be able to translate for participants if necessary.

Spin the life!
